TERMS & CONDITIONS — PPCS PEST CONTROL

1. ABOUT US

PPCS Pest Control Ltd (“PPCS”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13233198). These Terms & Conditions govern all pest control services provided by PPCS to residential and commercial customers.

2. QUOTATIONS & PRICING

2.1 All surveys are carried out free of charge. Following your survey, a written quotation will be provided which is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

2.2 Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. If the extent of an infestation differs from what was described, PPCS reserves the right to revise the price before work commences.

2.3 Any additional work required beyond the original scope will be agreed with the customer before proceeding.

3. BOOKINGS & APPOINTMENTS

3.1 Appointments can be booked by phone or email.

3.2 We will confirm your appointment date and time by phone or email.

3.3 PPCS will make every reasonable effort to attend at the agreed time. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.

3.4 Please ensure a responsible adult aged 18 or over is present at the property for the duration of the visit.

4. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

4.1 We ideally ask for 2 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, however no cancellation fee will be charged.

4.2 If PPCS attends a property and access cannot be gained, a call-out charge of £85 + VAT will apply.

5. PAYMENT

5.1 Following completion of works, an invoice will be issued and is payable within 14 days of receipt.

5.2 We accept all forms of payment including cash, bank transfer, card and cheque.

5.3 For commercial contracts, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Invoices not settled within this period will incur a £10 late payment fee for every 2 weeks the balance remains outstanding.

5.4 PPCS reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. OUR SERVICE

6.1 PPCS will carry out all work using appropriate, approved products and methods in line with current Health & Safety legislation including COSHH regulations.

6.2 We will provide clear aftercare instructions following every treatment. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure the treatment is effective.

6.3 PPCS cannot guarantee complete eradication of pests in a single visit for all pest types. Where follow-up visits are required, these will be discussed and agreed with the customer.

7. GUARANTEES & RETURNING PESTS

7.1 Where a guarantee is offered, this will be stated explicitly in your written quotation.

7.2 Guarantees are void if aftercare instructions have not been followed, if the property conditions have not been addressed as advised, or if a new infestation has occurred after treatment.

8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

8.1 The customer must provide accurate information about the nature and location of the pest problem.

8.2 The customer must ensure safe access to all areas requiring treatment.

8.3 Where required, the customer must remove or protect food, pets, and personal items prior to treatment as instructed by PPCS.

8.4 Children and pets must be kept away from treated areas for the time period specified by the technician.

9. LIABILITY

9.1 PPCS holds full Public Liability and Employer’s Insurance.

9.2 PPCS accepts liability for damage caused directly by our negligence during the course of a treatment.

9.3 PPCS is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from the customer’s failure to follow aftercare instructions.

9.4 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. DATA & PRIVACY

10.1 PPCS collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at ppcspestcontrol.co.uk/privacy-policy.

10.2 We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

11. COMPLAINTS

11.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance at info@ppcspestcontrol.co.uk or call 07760 921032.

11.2 We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 working days.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
